A new Fortnite: Battle Royale update is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. After a short delay, Epic Games launched the v8.20 content update and its patch notes this morning. The update introduces new Explosive Bow for Fortnite.
1. Description of the Fortnite New Explosive Bow
Explosive Bow is a legendary weapon and uses shotgun ammo to shoot, the weapon deals 15 damage in the event of an impact but inflicts 100 explode damage immediately after that. It takes 1.6 seconds for the bow to charge fully. Doing so will only increase its scope, and the damage will remain the same. Epic has not revealed where we can found it.

"I don't understand why Epic is so reluctant to add fall-off splash damage for explodes. If the opponent is the fursthest distance possible from the explosion, they still take 100. That's a bit too nuts."
"I haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I'm judging it based solely off the videos I've seen like this one. I was pretty excited about the bow in general too, but I feel like the explosion should only hit for 100 if the shot lands. If it's a proximity shot, the damage should fall off considerably, or remove splash damage entirely."
"I was hoping that since it was a bow, it'd be more focused on the precision with a fast projectile, but that's not the case."
"They should reverse it, make the bow "arrow" do 75 dmg and the explosion does 25-35 that way you can still get the aoe and make it reasonable (because you didn't block), but there's still a huge incentive to hit shots."
So far I like this weapon, what are your thoughts on the New Explosive Bow? Also, Epic fix some bugs of Fortnite's Arena Mode in 8.20 update, especially when some players tried to queue with a higher level friend in Duos. It's time to fix the problem of preventing players from queuing or ranking to another department.

- Fires Arrows with a Shotgun Shell tip, which explode on impact.
- Uses Shotgun Ammo
- The longer you hold the fire keybind down, the stronger the shot! This increases both projectile speed and direct impact damage.
- Explosive damage is consistent regardless of the power of the shot.
- The Boom Bow will achieve maximum power after 1.6 seconds of charging.
- A direct hit will deal both the direct hit damage and the explosion damage to the enemy player it impacts.
