Players Can Get Multiple Free Items through Fortnite Vending Machine Exploit

Fortnite Season 8's v8.10 update has been released and brought a new set of changes, including one applied to vending machines: These convenient machines now dispense items no cost of charge without needing a set amount of materials but only offer one particular item/weapon just before disappearing. Fortnite players now find an exploit that makes the revamped Vending Machines gives out far more loot than intended.

Recent, Reddit user shows players a magical exploit of the Vending Machine. Assuming all members of a team to press and hold the button to interact with all the machine at the same time, so long as this done correctly, the vending machine will spit out numbers of Fortnite Items (like ammo) for each person who got involved.

Keep in mind that the method is not foolproof - someone who hits the button a second too late won't get an item, and an individual who hits it too early will deprive absolutely everyone else of items.

However, this isn't how the changes to Fortnite's vending machines were intended to work or be used by players. Epic Games employee said teamwork makes the dream work, but unfortunately, this is not intended. Now there is no definitive answer to the Vending Machine's bug fix time, but Epic said they are looking into this issue.

About the exploit, someone said Epic definitely should have been tested before the change; even one guy could test this within 10 minutes with two games running at the same time. The idea behind this bug has existed for decades.

Of course, they can't test every scenario, but they should at least to test well-known exploits that have been in games for decades. Being able to say "I wonder if this 20+ year old exploit works and can give me a huge advantage when there potentially could be a lot of money on the line" isn't a thing that should happen. So what're your thoughts on it?
