Fortnite Season 6 Now Has New Pets and Some Big Map Changes

Fortnite Season 6 has come to our field of vision, season 6 includes a new item that turns you into a wraith, and adorable pets that cling for your back as you play. But don't let the cute pets fool you, it is necessary to have enough fortnite save the world materials. The general theme to season 6 is appropriately spooky as we strategy Halloween.

Floating islands, creepy castles, plus the bunker

There are a few new spots to land around the island with lots to discover. For starters, when you have been wondering what was next for the not too long ago bouncy Loot Lake, we now possess the answer. The magic from the purple cube has somehow produced the island in the center in the lake rise up into the air to grow to be a floating island -- home and all.

And you will not even have to make up to the house to discover it. The region is surrounded by a purple vortex that should draw you as much as the island simply by walking into it. Even though we have not exhaustively explored it yet, it is clear the floating island will make the endgame incredibly intriguing if the storm closes there during a match.

There is also now a creepy-looking castle high around the mountain above Haunted Hills, giving you a brand new location to drop in and collect loot. This will absolutely make factors crowded to get a though as individuals get their initial look, but at least it provides an extra reason for players to head to that a part of the map as the season progresses.

The third new location isn't rather so easy to find. Don't forget the mysterious bunker with no entrance in Wailing Woods? You still cannot enter the bunker itself, but in the fort at the center on the maze, you are able to drop down a shaft to a sprawling multi-level complicated underground. The theme down there appears a great deal like the interior of your mountain where the rocket took off throughout season 5, with research equipment, banks of computer systems as well as other laboratory decors.

Other alterations about the map consist of corn fields that have grown tall in Fatal Fields (terrific for giving cover) and tons of other adjustments Epic says we'll need to see for ourselves.

Introducing Shadow Stones

You could try to remember how the Fortnite Cube would occasionally print runes on the ground since it traveled about the map, leaving low gravity places in its wake. Sadly, the low-grav regions are gone, but in their spot are corrupted places with strange rune-covered cubes named Shadow Stones. When you consume one particular, it turns you into a shadowy wraith-like ghost.

The Shadow Type state only lasts for any quick time but enables you to run quicker, jump larger and allows you to jump via walls. For those who remain still, it also makes you invisible to other players. The only issue is, whilst in motion, you are extremely visible and vulnerable if people today make an effort to shoot you, and --while inside the type -- you can't use your guns. The Shadow Type is going to become a game-changer when storm circles close on these areas, and it'll be exciting to find out how players use it to their benefit within a match.

And Fortnite pets!

Pets have also been added towards the game in season six as a back bling (backpack) decoration. You'll find three various pets, which includes a bit pooch, a blue dragon, and a cute gecko. All three is usually unlocked using the Battle Pass and will react to things you do within the game. As an example, jumping from a tall height will show them worry for their lives as you drop.
