Fortnite - Is Season 6 Teasing The Wild West

Have you guessed what will happen to Fortnite Season 6? Epic Games has a way of coming out of left field with its battle passes, and yesterday's teaser did not exactly elucidate much: we saw a sort of a llama DJ coming out of your purple interdimensional cube that is been causing havoc for weeks now.

Today's didn't assistance considerably either: a kind of a glam cowgirl with a bandanna. The western notion, having said that, is definitely a fascinating 1 for all those that have watched this game for at least 12 weeks. Is Epic teasing a Western theme...once again?

For some Fortnite Items collectors that never know, we have been all fairly convinced we have been obtaining a wild west theme of some kind for Season five. The evidence was there: a desert biome had been added to Save the World, Wild West-looking assets had been identified in game files, and the game itself even spawned an old-timey stagecoach out in Moisty Mire. No such luck, it seemed. The stagecoach was a kind of museum piece inside a modern-day California zone, and there was no Wild West to become identified in Battle Royale.

That's why it is exciting to see the cowgirl pop up in an official teaser. No, I do not consider we're necessarily finding a Wild West theme for the subsequent season, even though we're clearly finding a minimum of a single Wild West skin. But this is clearly somewhat winked about final season's rampant speculation and a sort of a dare to guess at the season theme once more. Get in touch with it a troll, in case you will. The troll wouldn't be the worst word for it.

Epic is quite enthusiastic about neighborhood interaction, after the developer caused some ire by failing to choose a fan preferred video for the winner of the dance competitors, it included the dance in the subsequent battle pass.

When everyone thought Season four would be dinosaur-themed, it incorporated just a little nod to the notion inside the actual Season 4 rewards. Throwing slightly Wild West into the mix this time about will be right in line with that sort of issue. I can't say it is the worst, even though I would prefer to still see a much more comprehensive Wild West notion.

It leaves us asking yourself exactly what the theme is going to be, naturally. Season 5 did not genuinely have a theme, which was a shame after the relative concentration in the superhero-themed Season four. Returning to a unifying notion would give the game a bit additional concentrate, which the increasingly expansive practical experience could use ideal about now.
