Fortnite Has Now Vaulted the Drum Gun

As from the v5.40 content update in Fortnite, the contentious weapon has been vaulted. Fortnite players in the planet could simultaneously celebrate the removal on the drum gun from play.

Due to the fact its introduction, the drum gun has contributed to the 'spray meta', a style of play that rewards shooting down structures more than creating them, which has had longtime Fortnite players upset for the much better part of Season 5. Spray harm is still about inside the type of SMGs and miniguns, and though I think it is a needed element of play, tempering its viability somewhat has been extended overdue.

Within the drum gun's stead, the suppressed assault rifle has been added, a legendary weapon that "rewards precision over rapid-fire." Apart from a number of bug fixes, the update is pretty compact otherwise, you can check out the official blog for v5.40 updates. Meanwhile, keep in mind that there are some cheap fortnite weapons for sale on U4GM.

The only other alterations in this content material update are a handful of tweaks towards the Getaway LTM, which you could study beneath:

Players within the Getaway LTM can no longer land around the van with no developing.
Decreased the Victory music at the end of a match.
Jewel will no longer seem in inventory hotbar immediately after getting the place inside the Down-But-Not-Out state.
Player models will no longer get stuck beneath the van just after winning a match.
Player models and things will no longer fall for the ground soon after winning a match.
Enforcer Outfit no longer seems distorted to other clients from certain distances.
Mainly just bug fixes, even though I enjoy how they had to minimize the volume on the victory music which was deafening.

Still, the biggest story on the day is very easily the vaulting from the drum gun. There's no competitive scene going on ideal now for this to influence with Summer Skirmish wrapped up, but we are about to head into Fall Skirmish for season six, fewer matches giving out a lot more cash, and I doubt we'll see the drum gun around for any of it at this rate.
